This is just a stunning array of yarns and in a nice environment with helpful friendly knowledgable staff. Large store. Even if you do NOT knit, go buy something fuzzy and learn! Ginger is wonderful and is very warm, it is an colorful emporium in which to dream...

Well it isn't the same...Sorry to see Ms F. (now THERE'S a savvy decorator, my friend Peg) but still the BEST clothing of all the Arc's, and even with shabby furniture most of the time, you do still find an occ'sl winner, lots of book and audio people browse here, the ART is always a "step up" from other Arc's, linens and pillows less volume (see my other review Arc). Bric a Brac tends to be more interesting here and again, sporadic. I have found great shoes and handbags here! Go on down to Antique Row and then on to get homemade bread or pizza, you know where....

This used to be my favorite, see my other Arc review, consummate thrifter here, quasi decorator graduated from ARC University, surely you have heard of it? Anywhoo...this once had best of everything, still has occs'l good buy in furniture (not like it use ta be)and still good clothing, books, bric a brac is less than it was but so am I!

Sit and read and go next door to get avocados usually cheaper in the Mexican grocers, bbq chips in maple, apple or pear to the west of Mall at the Smoker place, but again re Arc, hit this one irregularly as it is not the producer it once was. Even WITH the 50% off...

Here I am the lady who decorates and makes it "look like a magazine" aiming for cabin look, check out the amazing and diverse linens (flannel sheets with elk or bears, cozy comforters in suede, etc) aiming for mod-ern, check out the great eclectic furniture, I have seen some NICE mid century modern and lots of antiques NOT junk, PLENTY of dishes to break for mosaics and to eat on! PLENTY of vases, pillows, nice old shabby chic linens. SO they charge more than they USED to, come on, folks, doesn't everyone...So. Pls. go on Tues with granny (must be over 50 something)and get discounted. BEST because: they have less "stagnant" atmosphere, things change a LOT and don't forget to buy yr Halloween costumes here, Easter stuff, they always have all you need. Or could possibly want!

I sell flowers and bedding plants seasonally; I found Brown's after doing biz w another lg. greenhouse that is so so good but Brown's had the most amazing pansies in all colors and the SIZE on these faces were gigantic, all their plants are healthier it seems to me...they don't carry everything but they do have a lot to choose from.
