“Do not let these people tow your car!!!!”
Speed Line Transmissions Incorporated
I am in absolute shock by the way I was treated by this business. Yesterday my fathers car broke down and needed to be towed. My father called AAA which I guess called speedline (because they were located very close to where the car broke down) to tow the car to the our auto repair shop. My father ended up waiting in the cold from 2:00pm-7:00pm. That is not only dangerous but unacceptable. When he would call them to see where they were they assured him they were 10 minutes away every time! When the man finally arrived(5 hours later) to tow the car my father was pretty angry and made a comment that they should call their business SLOWLINE not Speedline. The man I guess did not like that comment so he jumped in the tow truck and took off?!!! I do not understand that reaction, I mean wouldn't you say sorry to a customer that has been waiting for you for 5 hours in Chicago’s cold weather?? That is no way of doing business!!! So I tried to call the owner and let him know what had happened and a VERY obnoxious girl answered the phone and was screening the owners phone calls, until he picked up the phone and said "I do not care if you were sitting in the cold and how long you waited” he also said "You could wait for another 3 hours and I would not care" and hung up on me! After seeing the other reviews I am very happy that he took off and did not tow our car. This person should not be in business. I own my own company and I would NEVER treat a customer in this manner. I spoke with AAA and they will not be using speedline transmissions inc. (slowline) again. I highly recommend that if you need any services done on your car do not use this company their address is 5239 w diversey and new number is 773-237-7550. The 773-829-5755 is not a working number probably part of another scam!!
