I have been a client of the store and know Dave (the old guy behind the counter) and he runs a honest store.
I have bought and sold equipment and have always received a fair deal...
Some people don't understand that stores like this have overhead and to pay the high retail on a used pice of equipment won't leave any profit... They have to make money to keep the doors open. If you don't like the price don't sell/ buy it. Spend hours on eBay selling packing shipping or waiting to see if the equipment you bought works. Or pay for the convenience of having a store that you can inspect before...
