I took my computer to these people. The work was done to my satisfaction BUT it took much longer than it should have. When they finally called me back for pickup of the repaired computer, they claimed that they had called twice previously and they said that they were ready to sell my computer if I didn't pick it up IMMEDIATELY. (If they had called me twice, why didn't it show up on my Caller ID or result in a voice mail?) I'll never go back to Uptech again.
I have used Uptech in the past because they were close and somewhat reasonably priced, but my recent experience left me very disappointed in their service and I will not be going back. I left my computer with them to replace a harddrive. Over the weekend they were broken into and my computer was one that was stolen. I can understand the frustration they must have, but they agreed to replace my computer with a quote, better one. When I went to pick it up it was obvious they rebuilt an old computer (still had a floppy drive), and did not account for the many ports, inputs, or specifications...
