This is video I took when simply trying to verify the identity of the owner of Univeristy Shell in Portland so I could talk to him about a horrible experience with an employee the day before.

The man being questioned in the video verbally abused my wife, parked his truck behind her vehicle to keep her at the gas station against her will, then offered to let her go only if she gave him her diamond ring, all because her credit card was declined for $5 worth of gas.

Great experiences with Lance & his crew every time! They've done my tires, trans flush & oil on my Volvo. Good prices, they are timely & thorough. One of his crew...cant recall his name off hand, has 10+ yrs exp working w/ Volvo's. I know that if I ran out of gas anywhere near the area I'd just have to call & he'd be over to help right away. The guy is small town service in a big city, & that's rare!!

Both Hilltop and University Shell pride themselves on customer service. I always receive friendly, professional service from the gas attendants, as well as the mechanics. They are a family owned business that caters to the surrounding neighborhood. University Shell is the most friendly and effecient auto service center that I have had the pleasure dealing with. Lance and the entire crew are very attentive to the needs of their customers and are never trying to sell you items you do not need. Their professionalism is at a level where many companys should strive to achieve.  (Hide)
