So I have moved myself for the past 20 or so years. Do to my current health situation, I could not move myself this last time. I thought I hired another local company, until 30 mins before they were supposed to arrive I called them to check in. Yea, I was told that they didnt have enough crews or trucks to move me on the day i had scheduled over 2 weeks prior!!! So, totally frantic, I was lucky enough to Get a hold of Karen at Two Men and a truck. I was told that as soon as another job finished, they could get me a crew. The customer service was great in trying to schedule the move-- they really sold me with their liability insurance and well trained staff.
The reality was very different. The movers who showed up appeared less than well trained. They tried to force my desk up a stair case totally scraping the side. The movers did not tell me about the damage and they did not file a damage report with the company.
The company has a 96 hour damage report policy. I left town immediately after the movers moved me in and came back after the 96 hour policy. I called to report the damage exactly one week...
