We're not a fan of hotel food, so we were looking for something close by before we got on the road. It was only three blocks away from our hotel and perfect. They also make lunch boxes to go and since we were heading home on a 12-hour drive and my son is a vegetarian this was the perfect morning...

One bad experience at Ladera Twisters

We eat at Twisters often. We love it. However, we did have a bad experience with the Twisters at Coors and Ladera. I will not eat there ever again. When we walked in, the strong odor of pine cleaner attacked my nose. They were mopping the floors, getting ready to close, when there was still two hours left until closing. If that was not bad enough, I ordered iced tea. The tea containers had already been cleaned out and the tea was in a pitcher. There was something wrong with the tea, tasted horrible, like pepper. At that point, we cancelled our order and asked for a refund. Sadly,...

From the Albuquerque to the Santa Fe to the Taos, for breakfast, I'm lovin' it! We will be driving by McD's and turning into Twisters from now on. For three bucks you can hit all the food groups. The tastes like abuela used to make (granmama). Wish we could take it with us back to Kansas City. A definite must-eat if you love burritos. We had the Taos, the Albuquerque (couldn't stop eating it!),and tacos. The best!

Great food, good service. Lunch was served on real plates with real silverware. Servers were very friendly. The restaurant was clean. Easy location to get in and out. Plenty of parking.
