Had a business lunch here and was pleasantly surprised. The fact that they were not very busy when we walked in made me question our choice, but the food and service were very good. Ambiance, OK. We were seated in an alcove (by request). The bread that arrived at the table 5 minutes later was stale. The olive oil was of poor quality. The service was slow, but dependable. When the entree arrived, it was good, but overpriced- better value/service at Biaggi's.
The food is OK, but overprice. The service was really bad and there was only one other table. We had the smoked salmon salad and the arugula-prosciutto pizza. The pizza is definitely not worth the price.
One of the better italian places in madison. really like the food and have had several things off the menu. my wife and i look forward to every visit. wish the one downtown was still open!
