Go in the morning. Afternoon staff Clueless
And I mean clueless. I like this drycleaner but only until 3pm. The morning staff are professional, including a very good seamstress. But the afternoon staff are a mixed bag of high school kids who seem very challenged by the simplest acts of customer service. They take orders incorrectly, lose clothes, and give the wrong information. My latest experience with the afternoon staff involves my wedding dress. Unfortunately I was only able to drop it off in the afternoon. I called and asked how this was handled. They "sort of" knew. I dropped it off (keep hold of your tags, I've been behind customers whose clothes were lost and would have stayed that way if they hadn't had the tags) and was told that they professional staff would call me with an estimate for cleaning. That was Monday.....it's Friday....no call. I phoned today and was told (again afternoon staff) that everyone who would know had left for the day and they wouldn't know anything about it. I had to explain that this was a very expensive and important dress, no one had called in a week, and I want to know where it is and what is going on and asked her to call a manager (do I really need to be asking her to call someone?) She did call and then could only tell me that I'd have to talk to the person who deals with wedding dresses (yes imagine that) and that she already left and wouldn't be in until Monday. Uhm...hmmm. I asked why no one had phoned me yet (it's not like there is a stack of wedding dresses hanging there). Typical of the afternoon staff, she was clueless. I now have to call and follow up on Monday. I'm pretty sure that the afternoon staff responsible for putting the dress into the system didn't follow through or otherwise made an error that lead to no one contacting me. This is typical of afternoon staff. They never seem to know what is going on, can't help you, and frankly don't want to. The morning staff is helpful, professional, and older. At this location, stick with the mornings for anything significant if you can. Otherwise you'll be stuck with a truly incompetent bunch.
