One of the best dojo's around!

Having been involved in some sort of Martial Arts for most of my life, both Aikido and non-Aikido, I can honestly say Tri-City Aikido is the best place I've ever found to study Martial Arts. Let's face it - there are many different arts and even more schools with different types of people and philosophies. If you are looking for a place to study self defense, this is the place. If you are looking for a quality, non-competitive atmosphere where you can develop both your physical skills and mental awareness, this is the place. The teaching philosphy at Tri-City Aikido is non-competitive (the only challenge is within yourself, as the only true roadblock is in your head). If you are looking to quickly advance in rank, to show off, or looking for a "feel good" McDojo, sorry, this is not the place. Not to say there is anything wrong with belt-factories, but real substance is taught at Tri-City Aikido. Just like in real life, there are no free rides. Although I believe there is no single school that's perfect for everyone, I encourage anyone interested in Aikido, Martial Arts, or self defense to visit Tri-City Aikido and see if it's right for you. Everyone here is friendly and more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
