Cliff was very dedicated and diligent as a counselor. If we brought up a book we had seen, he would read it. He truly tried to understand our issues and would take the extra time with us to do so. O ne thing I had wished was that he recommended reading his book before we got started so we would see where he was going with techniques better. But maybe that's because I'm a reader.

When, after the fact, I asked one of the recommenders, another health care professional, what the basis for his recommendation was, I got nothing but a blank stare.
