This is Chicago. There are a lot of Italian restaurants here, so it’s not easy to impress the locals if Italian is what you’re serving — but Trattoria No. 10 succeeds. This downstairs establishment is a nice combination of comfortable, contemporary, classic and classy. Warm colors and effective lighting make the interior inviting, and the great arches between sections give the restaurant a...

Trattoria No. 10 has been around for years, and it's as good as it ever was. The contentment factor here is directly linked to consistency, quality and the understanding that Italian food does not have to be complicated. "Excellent" risotto, "dreamy" homemade ravioli and other "fantastico" dishes crafted with "quality ingredients" are on offer at this "charming" Loop Italian whose "underground location helps keep down outside noise"; "capable", "speedy" service suits it to business lunches or "pre- or post-theater" meals, and while it's not cheap, it's "not crazily priced" either.

This restaurant was amazing! The food was impeccable! The best Italian I've ever had! The restaurant is known for its hand-made ravioli. We enjoyed the squid ink risotto, lobster ravioli and enjoyed the tiramisu for dessert. Our server David was knowledgeable, had amazing information for our visit to Chicago and was one of the best servers I've ever had.
Our family visited Trattoria No.10 on a Saturday night, and were promptly seated. Our server was very knowledgeable, and gave us wonderful recommendations. The food was fabulous, and we all were very pleased with our choices. This is a must if you want authentic Italian!
Best ever..good food...fantastic staff...love the craft cocktails!
Trattoria No 10 never disappoints. Quality food and excellent service. Menu has a nice variety of standards and new items, many locally sourced.
A rare bad meal at this staple. I have been enjoying this restaurant for over 25 years and often visit before the theater. Everyone has a bad night and this was theirs. One of their signature dishes (the Lobster Ravioli) was particularly bad this night. The lobster was dry and the ravioli was undercooked. On the good side, the gnocchi was quite good. The premium wines by the glass were creative...
