Dropped by just now to repair a shoe for Homecoming(in 2 days)that we had ordered online. The piece that the strap fits into and goes into the strap holes (dont know the name) was put on backwards when we received from the company. Traini looked at the shoe and repaired it on the spot in 5 minutes and did not charge me. This was a great customer service experience for me. Will go back.
Okay, caveat to my prior comment, I did finally get my shoes back. He did okay and is a nice guy -- but because of the wait and irregularity of his store hours, I'll be going somewhere else next time. Sorry.
I read the bad reviews, but I needed shoes resoled (next time I'll pay more attention to reviews). You can't buy these shoes anymore - so I was willing to pay and wait to have them fixed. Initially, he told me it would take about 2 weeks and, of course, he requested payment upfront. Now, I can't reach him by phone and it's been a month since I dropped the shoes off. He may do good work -- I don't know since I can't get my shoes back -- but I'd take my business elsewhere if I were you.
During regular business hours listed, they never answer the phone. Is this place out of business? I have driven past and they are never open. I have beren trying to get a pair of shoes heeled there for over 6 months.
A beautiful pair of $350.00 boots, ruined ! The owner had promised me he could do the repairs/changes I requested.Returning to pick up the boots (with my ticket ),they weren't finished.I was told to give him another week.I returned and he still wasn't done.I asked to see the boots. Now he starts yelling at me ,slammed one boot on the counter, with heal removed. Begs me to give him more time , acting like I was rushing his work ! Two weeks later ,they are done. I send my husband this time, since the owner scared me with his crazy behavior. Not only did the job go well over 21/2 months,he totally changed the look of the boots leather when I explicitly said "don't shine , wax or polish these boots". I wanted him to make custom wood heals, he said "no problem"...a lie.He ruined a very expensive, sharp looking pair of Cole Haan boots. The original flat black leather finish is now super shiny .The heals were no where close to what I and he agreed on either,he actually made them look stupid with a heal that was lower and shaped totally different than what I asked for. I sent them to the manufacturer, they changed the heels,I was told the original finish was now ruined. Nothing professional about him ...this guy should not serve the public.
