Trader Joes in Chatsworth, CA has had a rodent infestation problem. We bought and ate a bag of Kettles "Bakes" lightly salted potato chips last week, and after eating the entire bag noticed "gnaw" marks and holes at the bottom. Over the past year I have not had any complaints about Trader Joe's. However, last week I bought TJ's Eggwhite Salad and opened the container to find a small wrinkled part of a blue plastic bag inside. Then I opened the Eggplant Hummus to find a small black threadlike hair enclosed. These were purchased the same day! I still like TJ's but I won't be ingesting any of their dips/salads, etc...Seems ...

I am a huge Trader Joe's fan - you can always fine awesome wines, snacks, cheese, gifts, etc. at really great prices.
