A long time ago (in a galaxy not so far away), I lived in that tall white building in Emeryville. You can pretty much see this building from anywhere in the Bay, including the Golden Gate Bridge.
Anyway, I would brag to friends about how I had a clear view of this TJ's from my apartment window. Yes, that is how much I love this store.
Prices are as consistently low as their quality is high....

My mom works at TJs so i get hooked up and i get the insider tips on all the employee favorites. the wine is always a sweet deal. and the prices and quality of everything else really cant be beat. try the eggplant hummus. it rocks.
The Emeryville Trader Joe's is a perfectly decent example of the chain, although I must admit that I am used to a bit more selection in the alcohol department. I didn't find parking as much of a nightmare as the last reviewer, although that might be because I usually go there after getting into the giant Emeryville complex from the highway. There are, of course, far more intriguing examples...
