In Short Founder Joseph Coulombe started this L.A.-based convenience chain 34 years ago. Today, you can get exotic, prepackaged frozen foods, fresh salsas, huge portobello mushrooms, baby artichokes and heirloom tomatoes fresher--and cheaper--than at most supermarkets. This place has discount gourmet food on the cheap. You'll need not look further for a fascinating and delicious array of trail mix, wines, fresh fruit, frozen entrees, and delicious meats and fishes. Trader Joes is known for its two-buck chuck; its cheap wine that also tastes good. It's also known for its fabulous prices (on some things, not all) and its free samples. Come in, be wowed!

This is one of the larger trader joe's in the boston area. There is a great many selection of healthy foods, and it is also one of the few trader joe's in the area that also sells alcohol. The prices may be a little steep, but the quality of the food is great, and the employees are always helpful and cheerful. It has a very independent feel once you enter the store.

I love this Trader Joes because they have good free samples out, almost all the time. They also occasionally have wine tastings which is nice. The downside is that it gets insanely crowded on the weekends and is hard to fit a cart down the narrow aisles.

Nonetheless I have always had helpful salespeople, and delicious groceries, and so I wholeheartedly recommend this store.
