In Short Torero's is known for its fresh, tasty, and "pretty authentic" Mexican food--as well as its casual atmosphere. Torero's features traditional Mexican fare, filling without being quite as heavy as the combos at other local cantinas. Torero's has a great bar with a good liquor selection, Mexican beers, huge margaritas, and just the right festive atmosphere.

The food is not good. It is bland and the salsa is not fresh. I go only for the free kids meal and then, I order food that can not be messed up like cheese quesadilla. Drinks are tasty.

Entering Torero's puts you in the mood for munching on Mexican. The decor appears to be traditional Mexican, and the food may be somewhat Americanized, but, well, most customers are American! The menu offerings are tasty and inexpensive, and business is usually brisk, especially at lunch time.

If you like sitting in a booth with a view of five TV screens on at least two different stations then this is the place for you. Absolutely tasteless food will compliment your aural experience of trying to sort out the various TV audios versus the piped in hispanic music. English is also not understood here very well.
All in all, don't bother - go to El Rodeo instead.
