If you want your employees to get their direct deposit, don't use Stafflink.

Within a three month period of time, twice they did not have our direct deposit 'checks' actually deposited in time in order to post to our accounts on actual payday. This caused great inconvenience for the employees of one of their clients (even causing late fees and overdraft fees for them, and consequently impacting their families/children who must also wait because daddy didn't get his paycheck on time). Instead of staying in the office until they were assured everyone received their direct deposits actually on payday, they left to go home and enjoy the paychecks they got for themselves. It happens once, then, OK that's doable; but twice within months of each other is pushing it ..... not to mention thrice within a three year span. Unacceptable.

Also, the insurance was a big problem last year. For some, they failed to activate health insurance policies until up to three months after open enrollment (hope no one had to see the doctor or dentist during that time). When they did finally activate insurance, they took a lump (three-month worth) sum for the premiums they should have been paying over the three months. This left some employees with checks so small, they could only buy a sandwich and a coke for the entire week. Let us not mention those who had opted out of insurance, yet still saw deductions from their paychecks for those three months.

Every time you call to ask them what's going on, it's always either "the bank's fault" or some other obscure entity's fault ... never their own.
