Great sushi and great prices.
This place is tucked away in an unassuming strip mall in Foster City - we got in about an hour before close and had a wonderful meal.

Pricey but nice food

Located in Foster City. The food is good, portions are on the small side, considering its location. The prices are a bit high.

We love Tokies. The sushi and entrees are wonderful. We really like the tuna pokie, which is spicy and makes a great appetizer. We also love the dynamite roll and the spicy tuna roll. They have the best tempura and great teriyaki sauce. My only negative is that they charge extra for brown rice. We go almost every Friday night....

Born and raised in Nagasaki, Japan, Tokie did not arrive in America till 1995 where her first job was as a waitress for a Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles. She later moved to San Mateo, Californis where she worked as a part time caterer.
