If I could give 0 stars then I would about 10K in work for terrible quality and rude service in the end. Husband got off the phone with Tom and Tom stated nothing would be done at all about our concerns which this is just plain wrong!!! you dont take someones money and not fix issues. We will see you in court since nothing is going to be done.. I listed below the issues. Also these issues I had addressed before and we were told things would be done and now nothing... most expensive service around and we expected better... way better.
The other day they came to put fertilizer on our lawn so I kindly addressed some concerns/issues with the man that was here, wish I caught his name as he was very friendly and wrote down some things I mentioned.
1. some of our yard is growing very well, its beautiful however the curbside is extremely chocked full of weeds, We understand some grow but it shouldn't look this terrible, other neighbors that have had hyrdoseed done can attest to this and many even said that they wouldn't hire your services just based off checking out our yard.
2. there are sections that need to be re-seeded as I was TOLD that would happen if areas were not growing at all that someone would come out and cover those areas.. today TOM told my husband that he wasn't doing anything which is what prompted me to finally write this review.
3. The Sprinkler system is weak and not even hitting some spots as it should be, I was also told last time that someone could come out and use their "special key" as it was called to adjust the sprinkler heads so the pressure is better and that they spray further... now that wont be done according to TOM... thanks again.. see you all in court because I did not fork out almost 10K in work to have it look like hell.
4. the connection drain that goes to the sump pump has a large area of settling, I was told by the last man here that they can bring top soil to even that area back again to have it look nice and just re seed that spot also, this happened due to your work on our sump pump drain connection but again nothing now will be done... according to TOM. nice service right?
We have been nothing but kind to you people until we are told nothing is going to be done about all of this as it should be now we have no choice but to bring this to court unless it is all addressed and fixed asap.
We took several bids on redoing our landscape and finally selected Todd's as they could handle the entire job of landscapping, sprinklers and a deck. Once everything was set to go, August 13th, we were told that the job would be complete by the time we left for our vacation, which was September 19th. Todd's did not even start the job until September 8th and needless to say the job was not completed by the 19th, it actually was not completed until October 7th. I would suggest to everyone that using Todd's would not be a good idea unless you have the time to be present when they are doing the work as they do not follow the plans. We had had glowing recommendations from friends that hey do excellent work. Examples of the issues we had are the following: They planted the wrong plants in our back bed, we asked for "Wine and Rose Weigalias" which are red in color; and the planted "French Lace Weigalias" which are greenish yellow. Sure once pointed out to them they said "oh, my bad" and replaced them, but it should have not occurred. We ordered a 8-10 foot Arborvitae to replace the one that had died and they showed up with one that was 5 foot and would have put it in the ground if we would have not stopped them. Our walkway was to be paver stones in a random pattern. When we came home from work it was done in straight lines. When questioned about it they siad" well it is a random pattern as the bricks are different size." I then informed them that according to the contract and design plan I had it was not random as the contract states per design. They then conceded to remove and replace it to the correct pattern. After completing the new walkway, I noticed that they did not redo the step inlay. This was the day we left for vacation and they called the next day and informed us that they had talked it over and decided that it would involve too many small cuts to put the same pattern in the step and it would look terrible. We informed them that once we got back from vacation we would look at the step and let them know. My wife upon our return made a design that would mirror the pattern of the walkway, this was actual size and we contacted them to have it replaced per her design. Over the course of the installation of the landscapping we had three (3) different lists of issues and concerns that need to be corrected to get the job done according to the plan. They misplanted our boxwoods so instead of being near the porch to create a hedge, they were planted 4-5 feet in front of the porch. They took off all of the downspouts while they were doing the work and damaged several of them. Ours are beige and werre set up with removable ends for grass cutting and when they were done they had lost all of the pins to hold the end pieces on as well as putting the dented ones back on and also replaceing some with white pieces. They placed a sprinkler head under the area where the deck was to be built, which had to be removed and replaced. The placed another sprinkler head under our gas meter which also had to be removed. The crew was not professional and left the yard a mess every night with the scrap and their trash, bottles, paper etc. The only good thing to happen while the work was being completed was the deck crew. They came in and had the deck done in 3 days and all during the process they were polite and very professional, they asked if they had questions concerning our deck and made sure that we were satisfied. I would not recommend them as you need to be constantly on top of them or the work will not be correct. Once all of the issues were completed the landscapping looks nice but it was not worth the time, effort and price to get this done.

We unfortunately had Todds Landscaping our property! We had them put in mature trees, walkways, grass, flower beds,stone porches,stone patio and seawall! WE HAVE HAD TO REPLACE AND REDO EVERYTHING THAT THEY DID!!! Our mature trees have died or are struggling to live. We have hired a tree service to come in and fertilize them hoping they will survive.HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!! They refused to guarentee their work! We went to their business location with pictures to discuss our landscaping and the secretary was very RUDE we were not able to talk to ANYBODY and asked us to lwave! They would not return our phone calls! This was a few years and over $60,000.00 ago. When we signed the contract there were many verbal promises but unfortunately they were not in writing.
