Take my word, don't waste your time going to the Tirupati Bhimas in Artesia/Cerritos. I used to goto this place when it opened and used to like the food initially. The taste, and service have been deteriorating.
The last straw was my trip a few months ago, the staff asked us to wait for a 15-20 minutes to get seated. While we were waiting asked us to step outside. It was late in the night and was with two really young kids. It was a really cold night and did not want the kids to get sick, so asked the staff to either allow us to stay near the waiting area inside or move a mobile heater outside so we don't have to feel the cold. Realize the staff and especially the manager was in the closed room with an additional heater next to him and The manager was extremely rude and asked us to move outside and did not move the heater. No apologies, no explanation. Could not make sense to him, returned the waiting card and never went back. Quite disappointed.

We went to have dinner at Tirupati Bhimas Restaurant in Ceritos,CA , the food was ok not great but we had a shocking experience .My Hubby found a glass piece on his Pulav plate , when we complained it to the Management the answer was we dont use this kind of glass piece , they did not even bother to ask Sorry for this . So please dont ever go to this hotel if the glass piece was found on kids plate they cant even complain it and without knowing they will eat it so please avoid the restaurant.
Food is fine, it could be hit/ miss here. Been to this place several times since 2008, it's close to great mall. Dosa's are good but one may not appreciate Chinese dishes. Like their onion ravva dosa, masala dosa, Kara dosa (spicy) and butter dosa. However, I never had good North Indian thali or butter milk or Chinese items. Stay away from ordering these.
If you are craving a Dosa or a thali, not a bad place to get one. They do some Andhra specialities like pesarattu, but you can safely go for the standard fare too.
Once upon a time it was a fav place; but no more.
If you go alone, they won't even look at you.
They will give table for 2 to people who are after you, but not you.
They think it is a crime to go alone when they are busy.
They won't give you silverware, no water.

Found this place great for south indian food, especially dosas. Not oily at all, which is what I loved about them. Pure veg, extremely reasonable and tasty.
