We always enjoy a good Mexican meal at Tipico's. Everything taste fresh and is always piping hot. The service is always very good too. They are always quick to replenish the chips(which are excellent), salsa and drinks.
Highly recommend trying Tipico's if you are in the area. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Folks, I've been coming to Tipico's for more than 10 years, and it is authentic Mexican food that is very well made and consistent every time. I met a buddy of mine here for breakfast on Saturday and the place was busy, as usual. We both had their Huevos con Chorizo with handmade flour tortillas and it did not disappoint....

This is typical Tex-Mex, not interior Mexican as our hotel shuttle driver had claimed. That said, for what it wants to be it is good. They have a wide range of the standard Tex-Mex fare such as burritos, enchiladas, tacos, as well as things you won't find often such as pork in red sauce, pork in tomatillo sauce, mole, nopales,...

A friend took me to Tipico's for lunch. He has eaten there for years.
The restaurant is a typical local style Tex Mex place...nothing too fancy.
Our server was friendly and prompt with chips/salsa, drinks and menus.
We had the enchilada lunch specials. The portions were generous and the food was good.
For a good Tex Mex meal eat Tipico's...

If you're looking for real Tex-Mex and want to get away from the chains, go to Tipico's. This Mexican restaurant has a dive-like atmosphere, complete with inexpensive prices and made-onsite tortillas. Gringos are welcome, but will not be in the majority, as local Mexicans love to frequent this place. Some of the most popular menu items there include the carne guisada, tripe, fajitas, enchiladas...
