Information about this business (1)

If you like leaving all of your cares behind and letting loose, Tiger Bar is the place to go. A lot of the clientele are in the mid-20s age bracket, but the atmosphere is fairly sophisticated nevertheless. Most nights you will find more mature adults rubbing shoulders with the younger set. Televisions on the walls play without sound, so you can still talk and enjoy music. The full bar is backed...

Tiger Bar Restaurant Review

If you’re looking for food at midnight, this popular bar on the edge of the Pearl District offers decent late-night dining, although be forewarned: the kalua pork and sweet potato fries may come with a side of karaoke. Cool patrons pack the bar on weekends; weekdays are slightly quieter and probably a better time to sample the Asian-influenced pub grub served here---chicken skewers, pad thai, a...

A dark, grungy party scene with Asian accents.

In Short
Loud, lively and very, very dark, this bar is dominated by its long, wooden bar painted in tiger stripes. Rough brick and black paint create an industrial-meets-jungle atmosphere...

What can I say, moist, smoky, sweet, it rivals some I've had in high end resturants, its even moist when cold. I would recomend this...

The new ownership's returning the near-perfect floor plan, a long bar lines one wall facing huge semi-circular black booths diagonal to small stage, back towards relevance. The stark decor may seem bland and far too many holdovers from acid jazz nights near the fall continue to frequent, but the old girl looks to be getting back on her feet. She should date The Tube, really.

Thursday: Karaoke...

Know Before You Go

When cruising by, Tiger Bar can be easy to miss. The windows are blacked out and the sign over the door is abstract tiger stripes. Look for the brightly flashing lights of the sex shop next door.

What to Drink

A house special, the Liquid Love, is a potent, berry-tinted concoction.
