Peaceful gorgeous retreat. Unbelievable view of ocean though not oceanside- actually high up on a hill looking out. Awesome tub and beautiful comfy bedding. Wonderful breakfast buffet enjoyed in silence with others respecting the beauty of the surroundings. Flowers and hummingbirds everywhere! My husband thought the name was a joke but there was no laughing as we pulled up to the Tickle Pink in and were warmly welcomed in reception. We'd arrived at 6:00pm just as the complementary wine and cheese hour was coming to a close but a quick phone call down to the Terrace Room ensured they'd wait for us....
Visited TPI for 2 nights in March, wanted to be completely in love with the place and left feeling disappointed and not dying to return. The hotel is certainly very comfortable and rooms have an incredible view, but that's where the "wow!" factor ends. The place is showing it's age and from the outside looks like an old roadside motel....
Location, location, location! This hotel on a hillside has some unbelievable views. Our suite room had a 3 baywindow with benchseat, very large with a full view of the ocean. Weather had a chance of rain so not having a deck/balcony was fine with us. The afternoon wine and food trays were excellent. The breakfast was very good and plentiful....
