Awesome place for breakfast and lunch; get there before the crowds; a must-try is catfish and grits (best cheese grits in town); lots of local color; lively and great service.

Breakfast served all day.
No one in Atlanta does the diner gig the way these guys do: The curved counter, the deco block glass in the windows, the intown address, the empty pastry case, the darned good grub. The waitresses are the sweetest on the planet, and they bring food fast and hot. The new location on Marietta is as good as the original! Everything is good - everything. Don't walk, RUN and enjoy real food made for real people! The menu is varied, interesting and relaiable. Everything we've had there is delicious and fresh. The service is diner perfect. Get going!!

Everytime I come to Atlanta I go to the Thumbs Up...was introduced to it by a local a couple of year's ago...and I'm never disappointed. Yes, as others say, you will wait for a table on the weekends if you arrive after 10am, but the food is well worth the wait. The location on Marrietta Street. The front house manager has a really bad attitude. You will not be satisfied with the service there. the food is alright but the service is horrible. When you place a phone in call she put you on hold for about 15 mins and when you get there she tell you that she forgot.
