DO NOT rent from Thrifty in Dallas. TWICE I got charged after the fact for toll roads AND administrative fees, after being told my the counter clerks that I would not be going through toll roads/booths, based on planned trip. In December, I rented at the airport, drove to my hotel, parked it for 3 days and drove it back to the airport. The clerk who rented me the car assured me I WOULD NOT be going through tolls to/from my hotel. Today, a month and a half later -- I now have a bill that I have to pay for a toll road I apparently went through. The toll is .74 -- the admin fee is $15. I...
