Located in the grand and former Farmers and Mechanics building, this contemporary hotel nods to its 1940s past while providing all of the modern luxuries.
Our bathroom had poop on the wall when we got in, the overflow in the bathroom was also filthy. This just made is uncomfortable and questioning of the cleanliness of the rest of the room. When I tried calling the front desk no one answered. We were thankful to stay only one night.
Very difficult to access vehicle from ramp due to ramp closing. Lights in room didn't work and we were told they would come and fix it and never did.
We enjoyed our 2 nights at the Westin, sleeping in completely cloud-like comfort on crisp sheets, working out at 1 AM in the well-maintained gym, and enjoying the deco architecture in the lobby/bar area. We did not eat at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the food, but we did enjoy our room and the amenities. Walking distance, or on major bus routes, from just about everything we wanted to do...
