It was my first time at the Standard and I was expecting to have a great experience there however, it was all but true what I have read and it looks like nothing has changed. I got there at 11:30 on a Sunday night with a friend of my that had just got of work from twin towers in LA to have a drink. Not feeling the love. Snooty desk clerks with nasty attitudes. Not sure how this outfit stays in business, it's just a washed up old motel. The food was very good in the restaurant however and the pool beautiful
Amazing view!! Like any place in LA, group of cute girls = no cover, no wait, fast service (sad but true).
