I was a little worried about moving here due to reading negative reviews online about management and it being a ""party"" house for students. I went to visit the property anyway, with an open mind. When I arrived the staff was very friendly and inviting. After, touring the property I was suprised to find it was very quiet and clean. Before I leased, I expressed my concerns to the manager and assistant manager about the negative reviews I read and they informed me there was recently a change in management and there have been alot of positive changes made around the property. better options elsewhere

he place had potential, we moved in when the building first opened and have watched as bad management has allowed the building devolve into a dump.
High rents and no cleaning of common areas, a restaurant that stores it's supplies and garbage in fire exits and student tenants that are irresponsible animal house like fools make the shelby an expensive and poor choice for living.
Look elsewhere for better alternatives to an apartment near SMU
