Help us make it rightRussian Scorpion B427 Submarine Tour. Come tour a real Russian Submarine Located next to the Queen Mary in Long Beach California
The Background
You knew the Cold War had thoroughly run its course after a Soviet spy submarine became a U.S. tourist attraction. Decommissioned in 1994, this Foxtrot-class Russian sub...
It's closed. The submarine looks really pitiful from the outside. I would be scared to go inside with the state of the outside. Not at all attractive. But the Queen Mary right next door is worth the trip.
The Scorpion is cool! It's neat to see the inside of a real sub. I did get a little claustrophobic but I figured if they could live in there for long periods of time, I can walk through it! Lol.
Was recommended by a friend of mine to this place. In my opinion, they need to improve the place by increasing more points of attractions. Maybe also a small vendor inside the submarine that's offers drinks and tea would be good

Some small spaces, tight squeezes and not for those with...

Screen a submarine thriller to get you and the kids in the mood. Try "Crimson Tide," or perhaps "Operation Petticoat." Claustrophobes might want to think twice about taking a turn inside this 30-year-old sub, as passageways are narrow and ceilings are low.
The submarine floats next to the Queen Mary; make a day of it at both attractions. Also withing walking distance is the Aquarium of the Pacific.
