On this menu of New Southern offerings, gems include a flavorful gumbo; a lively salad of blue cheese, spiced pecans and grapes; and a delicate striped bass paired with elegant fingerling potatoes. Stick with simpler entrees, like the free-range veal chop or filet mignon with bearnaise sauce. Waits between courses may be long, though a warm fruit crisp with sour cream ice cream brings the meal...

Editorial Reviews from the web
The Scene The 25-story high-rise is set deep in downtown Atlanta. It was the neighborhood's first luxury hotel, and it's still the best. You'll find exquisite details inside--valuable oil paintings, ornate chandeliers and Persian rugs. If you're here for a nearby business meeting or to see the downtown attractions and sports venues, it's a great location. Downtown Atlanta is primarily...

Say so long to the downtown Ritz-Carlton's dreary, formal restaurant and hello to this New Orleans-style bar and grill. Everyone loves the clubby booths, gas lamps and mahogany bar as well as the energized power lunch scene. But the Southern steakhouse menu feels a bit contrived. You can do well with prime steaks and side dishes, but run from any dish that tries too hard to evoke old N'awlins....

We had a room facing a white wall, but who cares? When you stay here, the staff takes better care of you than your mom (sorry, mom). I didn't know how to tie a bowtie, one of the staff found a tie store next door to do it for me - he walked me there and back -cool!
Pros
+ fantastic service
Cons
- room view
I brought clients out for what I thought would be an impressive meal but I was sorely disappointed in the food ! The fish was dry and vegetables were limp and too buttery. Everyone agreed that the overall taste of the food was bland and unappealing. I would never come here again and would recommend to others to do the same. There are way to many great restaurants in Atlanta to waste your...

We went to the Atlanta Grill with two other couples and none of us plan to return. Although the service was lovely the food was horrible. Every single person out of six of us. The steak was tough and overcooked and all other of the dishes were bland with no taste. I could have cooked a better meal for everyone. The only decent item was a salad and who can not do that????????
Do not try the...
