I stayed here 5 years ago for business and I like the hotel then because of the price and location. I was suprised to hear all of the upgrades they had made and was curious to see. I was def. happy! Rooms have flat screens and best of all my fav. soaps and shampoos, L'Occitane! lobby is very european and boutiquish, if that is a word! This boutique hotel is convenient and comfortable at an affordable price. The location on North Michigan Ave (Magnificent Mile) is unbeatable. As a guest of the hotel, you are within a block of Water Tower, Oak street beach, the Hancock, Rush St, American Girl Store, etc. The doormen and valets are friendly and helpful. Traveling for work is something I normally don?t look forward to. However, after staying at this hotel, I am looking forward to my next trip to Chicago. I usually stay down the street at the Whitehall, but thought I would try something new. I?m glad I did. This hotel masterfully blends a hip atmosphere with old world quiet and comfort.
