Go for the music, not the food

Twelve of us went to the Phoenix on a Tuesday night. We called and made reservations several days in advance. We were treated to open mic night and a wide variety of very different and talented musicians. We also had very slow service (one poor woman trying to act as bartender and waitress for the entire place) and mediocre food....

This place was pretty cool with its set up. The piano is right by the door and the musician was very interactive with the crowd.

Great music and an incredible atmosphere! Reasonably priced entrees and drinks. Could have had more wait staff....our server was spread incredibly thin and seemed to have a hard time keeping up. We'll go back because of the entertainment!

The live band was blues & Rock but they were really good. The club is extremely small, and our group of 7 probably put them above capacity. We were hidden at the back of the bar. The service, drinks & food need improvement. Overall good night out.

The music was awesome. I liked the where the band sits, almost in the lap of the customers. The drinks were great, the service was great, but the appetizers were only OK. My friends enjoyed them, but I didn't. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we had an appointment elsewhere. I'll be back.
