The Upper Deck Sports Bar Restaurant Review

It's not every day a hotel bar becomes a locals' hangout, but the Upper Deck lures them in with unpretentious décor, drink specials and 180-degree views of the Wasatch mountains. If only this bar sat at the base of a ski resort, we could forgive the poor service and unimpressive food---the doubled-coated french fries outshine the rubbery cheeseburger on a bland bun, for example. What the Upper...

A comfortable hotel that serves as the unofficial gateway to Park City.

This hotel welcomes area visitors as the first building within the city limits when entering town from the interstate. A graceful porte-cochere leads into a tasteful mountain-style lobby, where guests will find themselves treated to the hotel’s signature unpretentious service. An updated look is apparent in all 131 rooms, which feature the warm and bright furnishings and décor that is also...

I bet when you check in and see the staff many times in one day you would expect them to mention any major issues with the hotel?

Very outdated but the bed was at least decent. The place was clean at least and had an underground free parking garage. The pool...

Not the best; buyers beware

Hotel was a disappointment; accommodations were quite dated, staff unknowledgable about local attractions... then to find that the workout room, pool and hot tub were closed at high season! Hard to imagine what is going on with their management - I'd suggest finding another place to stay.

We were looking forward to spending 5 days in Park City for New Year's and skiing. Prior to our trip I saw a small note on the hotel website indicating that the pool and hot tub were closed for renovations until February. What? Why would a hotel decide to renovate their pool and hot tub during high season during one...

I spent 10 days here with my ski buddies from UK. I regularly use hotels business and leisure . From my experience this hotel suffers from poor management . Strangely it isn't part of a bigger chain. It could and should be able to offer the added value of an independent... But they don't!
As others have mentioned, we too...
