"The cafe's atmosphere is pleasant, with the old stone walls and high ceiling. However, there is a problem in my view. I just went for my birthday last month, and we had a group of 25...they were so attentive the entire night. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious. Everybody enjoyed their order. We ended up here by chance, the resturant we were really going to was closed for repairs, so we ventured into the old pecan street cafe. We were greated warmly by the manager and seated right away. The food was amazing, no complaints what-so-ever. I don't suggests bringing kiddos, it's not the place for toddlers. The food was reasonable priced and the service was great. We had an excellent lunch there! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere wonderful! We are from out of town, but will eat there every chance we get to be in Austin!
