We make the 30 mile trip to the Granville Inn a couple of times a year. It typically is for a special occasion as we really enjoy all of the history and the quality. Last night was very different. We started off at the bar and had a drink as our table was not ready when we arrived. No problem there and Megan, I believe, was awesome. We got our table and looked at the wine list. There are no...
A wonderful place to meet with friends on special ocassions. And an easy drive from Westerville and Columbus. Good food and the atmosphere is perfect for semi-formal events. The food was very good and luncheon prices reasonable. Friendly service. The architecture was impressive which added to the entire experience.
Fantastic selection of entrees. Duck breast was perfect. Service was great. Atmosphere was excellent.
The Granville Inn is an improvement since the university took ownership - there seems to be more seating, and the bar is expanded and more conveniently located. The ambience is unique - it is a bit loud for the type of restaurant that it is. Some of the patrons are apparently unaware there are other people dining. I have been going here for many years and it's had it ups and downs. I must say that lately, it really has be very good and stable. The food is excellent and the service has gotten so much better. Keep up the good work!
Dinner reservations are for The Oak Room at the Granville Inn, The Tavern menu and seating are first come first served basis, we do not accept reservations for our Tavern.
