The rooms are tiny, the service is bad, the elevators are frightening, and the part of downtown it's in is empty. I cannot believe this place stays open and that other people have had good experiences here. It was nearly empty when I stayed there on a Saturday night. I like the architecture and ambience at The Magnolia, especially love the suites on the top floor - GREAT VIEWS of Downtown Big D!! Service has always been top notch, and I recommend this hotel to out of town family and friends for this, the location, and the inside ambience.

After traveling to Dallas for my 3 year anniversary, my husband and I will be life-long customers of this hotel. The complimentary happy hour was fantastic and the milk and cookies every night were oh so adorable. We had a Deluxe room and we felt very posh there.
