My wife and I stayed at the Concourse in July for 5 nights. The Hotel has a great location - within walking distance of the State Capitol, State Street, and the University Campus - which itself made it worth it. We stayed in a Governor's Club room, which cost more and really seems gimmicky. The complimentary breakfast was not up my alley and the complimentary cocktails didn't seem to be our 'scene' and would rather go out and pay for them at a local bar. My company frequently books rooms at the Madison Concourse for staff attending training in Madison. Many of my colleagues have taken advantage of the free drinks and other amenities in the Governor's Club rooms. I personally stayed in an average room and paid about $150 per night, all inclusive.
