This is a really cool bar. If you like heavy alternative music, or just loud music, this is the place for you. The House Of Bricks also hosts All-Age Shows for those of you under 21. Its located in Uber-Cool East Village, on the east-side of downtown Des Moines. They also serve food which is really good.

I do not know how the House of Bricks stacks up as a bar or a restaurant, because my only experience in it has been hosting concerts. As far as that is concerned, the location is excellent. The stage is high enough for people in the back rows to at least be able to see something, and the the floor is huge.
