The Scene Only Hollywood would construct a Disney-esque re-creation of a pre-war chophouse in an ostentatious, Las Vegas-style mall. With white-jacketed waiters, frosted mirrors and high-backed wooden booths, the Grill on Hollywood attempts to evoke the old-school ambience of a Musso & Frank-style establishment. I don't quite know what the reviews here are talking about! First off, I ordered The Grill via LABite.com and even though it took a while for the food to get here, it was still hot! That said, the mixed green salad was quite large, especially considering it was delivery (usually they give you less when you get take out/delivery). They also included a hunk of great bread with butter on the side; ... more

If you want to know how pricey this place is, take a peak at the menu before you go in. The cheapest chicken is $22 and so forth to $30 for fillet mignon. The interior is the classic vision of what a restaurant should be, with wonderful booths and old furniture, done up walls and mirrors. They give you delicious pickled peppers with the bread. Fillet mignon was small topped with fried onions that ... more
