Parmesan crusted chicken is other-worldly

Recommended by the hotel staff across the street, we were pleased to be able to walk to this neighborhood restaurant with such great reviews.
The Mediterranean sampler platter was a fabulous introduction to dinner.
One of us ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken atop pasta with homemade marinara sauce. It was delicious, and had to be shared!
Less stellar, but still...

Everything is good, and staff and atmosphere are nice. Close to the hotels if you are staying in Carbondale. The patio is nice if the weather is good.

What a nice surprise in this little CO town! I had the Blackened Tuna appetizer and had the "Lambolicious Burger" as my entree and both were "standouts". My wife had the Greek salad and the Tuna Burger and she loved the food too. The wine by the glass was a "good pour" and we had excellent service from a waitress...

The Goat is a simple, rustic restaurant that serves as a deli by day and as a fine-dining venue by night. The place is warm and very welcoming to locals and tourists alike and the quality of food takes ones experience to a different high. The specials and best meals are written on chalkboards and there is a great variety of specials. They also offer a selection of craft beers.
