A snazzy Theater District location for this venerable film institution.

This is an incredible theater! Its right down town [Over by the ABC TV building on State] One of the greatest film centers in North America. You have to visit this if you are a real film fanatic and you are in Chicago. This is a theater for people who are very passionate about indi films, documentaries, ground breaking movies and tributes to the great film makers of the past.

The Gene Siskel Film Center is a fitting tribute. It shows excellent movies, even though it's only about two at a time... they still are top notch. It's right downtown on State street so its quite easy to get to. As I've said before, this is another great theatre for the art that is cinema, and anyone who loves a good movie, will love the GS Film Center!
