Good locally owned shop. Futons are well made and they have comfortable mattresses which is a good thing for our guests. recommended.
The title for this review is latin for "Let the buyer beware." First, let me say that Tom is a craftsman, and you don't find very many guys like him around anymore. Second, let me say that my wife and I did NOT know what we were getting into when we decided to get a new pad for our futon instead of replacing it with a sofa. We were told when we bought our futon (75x53) that it was a Queen size....
after over 12 years as a customer, 3 futons , 5 lovingly handmade mattresses later & several repair help i am still in awe about tom's service at futon favorite - there aren't many places these days where you'll get this kind of quality support ! and check out his zafus, organic pillows & words of wisdom ! !
The name says it all! Futon Favorite is my fave! Do yourself a favor and don't spend your hard earned money for your sleep needs ANYWHERE else. Never a regret and always a great night's sleep.

It was time. The foam mattress was at its end. What to do? Something affordable. Something not made of foam (no matter how fancy). Futons came to mind. Google provided various providers including amazon, multilocation bed stores, etc. The pictures look good, the reviews were not. The Futon Favorite was the next link on the search page. Wow! This is what I was looking for. Tom Flower made the futons himself. He looked like an honest happy chap and it would give me an opportunity to support a local mom and pop business.
It was well worth the hour drive...
