I was a therapist at Fountain Hill Center for 20 years before leaving to start my own private practice. FHC is recognized as one of the leading therapy centers in the West Michigan area. The clinicians, especially Randy Flood, have excellent credentials and are highly regarded by their peers, colleagues and clients.
My family sees Amy Van Gunst for help after a divorce. She shared one opinion with me, and then changed it after talking to my ex's lawyer!

What a joke. Randy Flood believes all marital problems are the fault of the husband / man. Their contention that men cant victims of domestic violence is obtuse. The idea that if the woman withholds relations,, cooking or the children, or talking bad to the children about her husband it is usually the fault of the man is unfounded and prejudicial against men. Don't waste your time.

He does not have a P.H.D. and as such has to work under a P.H.D. The reason that Randy Flood Charges so much is that He can. He is in bed with The Judges in the Grand Rapids Michigan area.This is how it works. You see Randy Flood. Pay him between $2300 and $3200 and he does an evaluation. Then he sends you to group therapy for 6 months (26 times) at $60 a time then you are done. It doesn't mater what he thinks the problem is or what you have done. 6 months of group therapy and you are cured. No they don't accept insurance.
