Located in an unusually handsome brick home constructed in 1821, this is one of Portland's more desirable small inns. The extra touches are welcome throughout, from working wood-burning fireplaces in all guest rooms but one to the richly paneled billiards room. Michelin is asleep at the wheel.....we have dined here over 10 times. I have seen the restaurant improve every time. As I have dined in Michelin restaurants over 50 times I have to say one star would be well deserved. The food was just spectacular. The new chef is definitely a step up from the previous. There is nothing in 100 miles radius that even comes close. (Including the white barn)

It was an unbelievable evening, starting with fantastic drinks at the bar, to some eight courses of food that you will not get anywhere else in Portland! I would compare Tempo Dulu to going to a top five restaurant in New York City. The entire dining experience was phenomenal.
This was a memorable dining experience. The cocktails were the most unique and delicious that I have ever tried. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and prepared. Service was impeccable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an dining adventure .
