In Short Step from the enormous porch into the graciously appointed lobby and find yourself surrounded by "homey" sophistication: buttery yellow walls, floral chintzes, massive fresh flower arrangements. I came for the shrimp and grits and I keep coming back for it, although my arteries may not be able to take it after a while. Decor is very basic and the service from the young-ish staff is sometimes hit or miss depending on how busy they are. It's usually busy when I've been there.
