We are on quest for family (toddler) friendly nature walking, and that led us to Tenafly Nature Center. We did have a good time, but it was not so friendly for our toddler--whom we ended up carrying. The activity center seems nice, but was not open the weekend we went there. We'll need to try again, maybe when he's older....

The TNC is a good size natural park excellent to take your family with children to introducing to nature and hiking. Is has a small,parking area. There is a indoor facility to the left of the parking lot that has some rectiles and other small animals for viewing and may be available for children's party there are also,some benches along...

Kid friendly nature walk minutes from Manhattan

Just 15 minutes from the George Washington Bridge, the nature center has a number of walks that are perfect for kids.
In addition to the trails there are restrooms and a picnic area. The only reason I did not give the center a higher rating has to do with the nature center itself. The building is outdated, and needs major...
