The food is reliably good here, although not spectacular. Decent selection of wines and good service, ideal for a lunch date. Try to get one of the tables by the windows to look at people going by below you on Montague.

Taze is a gem of a place located on the second floor of a residential building on Montague Street ? the main drag in Brooklyn Heights. The food is fresh and the preparation is excellent -- they do not drown their dishes in oil and salt which is can be problem with many of the Mediterranean restaurants in the city.
