The dessert was excellent!! Fried chicken very good, big and meaty, just not much crust on it, which is what I eat the chicken for! Mashed potatoes good, cornbread average, dinner roll (store bought white roll) below average. Squash casserole, good, pintos, good. What I did not care was the building. Food is consistent but portion not really going to fill you up. Can't tell who the servers are as they are dressed in whatever they decide for the day.
Took 5 minutes just to get first person to stop at table.
Dessert was homemade and very good. Not anything that's going make me pull back in.

You can count on the home cooked flavor of the daily menu. The roast beef on Monday can be cut with a fork. This is a hometown favorite. Don't miss the home made deserts. The staff will give you a warm welcome.
