The ice cream and slushies are very good here. With only two windows and typically three people, the service can be a bit slow at times. Really it is a testament to how many people stop by.

Opened in the mid 1950's, Tastee Freez on Rockingham Road is one of the Quad Cities top 10 "must go" places. The atmosphere is incredible. The employees are terrific. Do yourself a favor and go there at night when the neon is glowing like there is no tomorrow. 5 stars out of 5 stars. This place is a time warp like you will rarely see. Watch for soft serve flavors of the week which you will find...
